Beer dates back thousands of years to at least 5000 BC. It began from individual artisan manufacturing until the Industrial Revolution. Revolutionary innovation allowed for more control and the ability to grow exponentially in the brewing process. Today, beer brewing is a worldwide industry ranging from multinational companies and thousands of smaller producers like brewpubs and local breweries.
